Some call it the Driftless Area, others call it Bluff Country, but the area east and south of Rochester (north and south of Interstate 90) is laced with coulees and spring creeks. Brown trout swim in most of these waters . . . waters I've been exploring, wading and fishing for more than three decades. I'll share my experience by helping you learn to read the water, understand fly selection, and work on your casting and line control. I can take you off the beaten streamside path or to easily waded pasture steams where there are no fly-stealing trees and brush - you tell me what you want and I'll try to make it happen for you.
