Guiding is generally available only on weekends - so early booking is recommended. Reservations require a $50 deposit - the balance is due when we come off the river. Depending on your preferences, your personalized day can vary from $200 to $250. We will guide a second angler for $50 additional - but two is the maximum.

A non-fishing friend or spouse (who wants to read a book streamside or bird-hunt with a camera) is welcome for an additional $10 (lunch). Half-day trips are also available. Troutchasers will refund deposits for cancellations made at least 15 days before your reservation, and hopes you will re-schedule. Sorry - no credit cards - cash or checks only.

What if the weather turns bad?

If rain or high winds make fishing impossible, I prefer to re-schedule. Or, as an option, for half the day rate, you and I can spend the day driving with map and notepad, and I'll show you more streams and accesses than you can fish in a summer. After all, there are more than 600 miles of trout streams in the Southeast! We'll spend time at a local café or two, talking flies and fly-fishing - and I'll point you to opportunities among the 100+ streams just waiting for better weather.
